Adele recently re-emerged on media turning heads just like every time she drops a single or album. However, this time she colored everybody impressed with her experience with weight loss and anxiety.
Last year, Adele was featured on headlines after her appearance after weight loss was spread across media, but it took really long till she’s open about her astonishing journey. Last week, the Grammy winner shared her experience in her latest interview with Vogue.
“It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone,” the English singer said.
For the workout that worked wonders, Adele now stays committed to it up to 2 or 3 times a day. To be specific, the singer plans her workout routine for weights, hike or box, and cardio in the morning, afternoon, and at night respectively.
The reason behind this was revealed that because she need being addicted to something. That way she can get her mind right. For a woman, it could be knitting but it was never. She chose workout and be thankful for that.
Disclosing about the fact that most people in her situation would turn up on such a platform like Instagram to share about her journey and get others inspired. Adele do quite the opposite. She stayed low-key and close-mouthed about her exercise and diet because she did not care about diet brands or gyms which could sponsor and invest in her posts; she did that for herself. “So why would I ever share it? I don’t find it fascinating. It’s my body,” Adele revealed.
The “Hello” singer also took this chance to criticize people who credited themselves as people who helped trained Adele while in real life, they have not even met, saying all of the stories about her transformation were fake.
The most interesting thing about her was that the singer was not on a single diet. She even ate more. “No intermittent fasting”, she added ” I work out so hard”.
Adele officially separated from Simon Konecki in 2019 after 12 years being together. She has not released a new album after “25” in 2015 and now preparing for a comeback with single “Easy on Me” which is set to be released on October 15.
